Weather in Sapa

The Weather of Sapa is temperate and subtropical so it’s cool throughout the year, with the average annual temperature of 15ºC. Summer is not as hot as the coastal plain, the temperature are around 13ºC - 15ºC ( at night) and 20ºC - 25ºC (at daytime). Winter is often cloudy and very cold, the temperature sometimes below 0 ° C, sometimes having snowfall.

From May to August, Sapa has a lot of rain. Average annual rainfall is 1,800 - 2,200mm.

Sapa has four seasons in a day: spring is the morning, in the afternoon is like the summer , usually sunny, cool, in the evening the clouds and mist covered like the weather in the autumn and the night is the cold of winter.
