Tu Duc and Khai Dinh Tomb Hald-day Tour

Itinerary

South of Hue, there are eight splendid royal tombs of the Nguyen Emperors, situated among the hills on the banks of the Perfume River. Often designed while the emperor was still alive, each mausoleum was built to serve as a palace for the afterlife. Among them, the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, with its lotus-filled lake and central pavilion and the simple and serene Tomb of Khai Dinh are the most interesting.

Depart from you hotel. By car to visit two typical tombs of Hue dynasty. Start with Tu Duc tomb:  contribute in 1864-1867s included 50 architectural works which name is started by “KHIEM”. Difference with Tu Duc tomb, Khai Dinh tomb is smaller and contribution style is affected by European and Oriental Architectural. Special, the biggest stone dragon is design along the stair-step lead to central chamber. Back to hotel.
